Quotes...

I gain inspiration from so many different things. It may be a sign in a store, graffiti, a television show who knows. I am always on the hunt for something meaningful, funny or just speaks to me. I read a quote the other day that felt so poignant for a lot of things this business has been going through. It reads:

"And it's amazing how much noise people ignoring each other can make." I am not sure this works for a pendant but it says so much. For me I often tend to not say how I feel and this comes out so loud and clear even though I try so hard to be so silent.

Most pieces I make have to do with how I am feeling at the time. It is funny because if I am happy they are lovely and funny and chipper. If I am annoyed or frustrated that directly is reflected in my work. The pendant that says "do what is right, not what is easy." was a direct reflection on some work I had done on our new space. Nothing annoys me more than someone doing something half assed and expecting full payment.

"I don't even like people I like" wasn't actually one I thought of but it was for a friend who posted a picture of the quote and I thought about how well that works for some people.

Do you have a favorite quote? Where did you hear or see it? Where do you gain inspiration from?

I wanted to give a quote for the chance to win a item but the screen doesn’t pop up again after I entered my email, anyways, my quote is, “if you can’t find the book you want on the shelf, write it”. Thnx :)

I wear my heart on my sleeve. I used to be silent and bury my feelings, now I speak my mind- good, bad, ugly, inspirational. Just like you said what I’m feeling, I say. When people can’t ger things right, my thought, “I have no patience for stupid people,” comes to mind or if it’s a bad day… Real bad… “I don’t just hate people, I f-in hate people!” Is a standby. On a good day when the sun is shining, the Brady Bunch song “I think I’ll go for a walk outside now, the summer sun’s calling my name” replays over and over in my mind. And don’t be surprised if you catch me doing some of the dance moves from it. ? I get inspiration some days from just looking up the blue sky and white puffy clouds and breathing. On those days, my affirmation is Progress Over Perfection Be a The Best You. Inspiration s everywhere if you’re willing to see it! And you provide it for me daily! ??
